To access the internal components of the Diamedica CPAP, you will need to remove the front and back covers completely. First, make sure the machine is switched off and unplugged at the wall. If the CPAP has an automatic voltage switcher attached like this one, you should also unplug this.

Start by removing the small panel at the back of the machine, near the top.

Next, you will need a screwdriver with a T20 star bit.

At the back of the machine, there are two screws to undo on the handle at the top. There are a further two screws to undo near the bottom.

Next, undo the screws on the side of the machine.

Then, lift out the blue bubble bottle from the side.

Next, lift out the fine particle filter cartridge.

You can then remove the back panel from the CPAP machine. There are two more screws to undo inside the machine’s front panel, near the top.

Next, disconnect the humidification bottle at the front of the machine.

Behind this, there is another screw to undo.

You can then partially remove the front cover. However, it will still be connected by cables and tubes.

Detach the ribbon cable by pushing in to release the catch, then sliding it out of its socket.

Next, detach the clear tube. Push in the collar of the connector, then pull the tube to release it.

Do the same thing for the black tube.

There are still colored wires connecting the front cover and the CPAP’s internal parts, but you can leave these attached.

You will be able to access what you need with this still attached.
