This film will show you how to reassemble the motor assembly.

First, refit the rubber gasket, ensuring it sits correctly in place. Note the two small knobs on which the gasket sits.

Next, position the nozzle piece on top of the assembly. Use the red alignment marks to ensure it is fitted the correct way around. Then refit the four screws.

Put back the black triangular piece and tighten the screws up to hold all the pieces together securely.

Now you can refit the diaphragm by gently sliding it back into the pump housing. You do not want to push it back in straight like this, because otherwise you will damage it. Instead, you have to put it back at an angle like this.

Gently rotate the diaphragm as you push it into the housing. It is very delicate, so you must not force it in, otherwise you will damage it and the pump will leak.

You can then replace the brass piece.

You will need to carefully slide the small pin into the hole at the end of the diaphragm.

Next, put the rotor and the pump back together again. Once they are correctly positioned, put back the two screws that secure the two parts together.

Make sure to tighten the screws firmly.

After this, you can carefully slide the brass piece back onto the rotor shaft.

Use the Allen key to tighten the small black screw, securing the brass piece to the shaft.

Once everything is in place and securely fastened, gently spin the rotor to check that it turns smoothly. Double-check that all components are firmly in place and properly secured.

Now place the rotor part of the pump back inside the electric motor. Remember, this is held in place by the bracket. Make sure you put this on the right way around and secure it with the two long bolts.

You can now refit the fan by simply pushing it in firmly onto the rotor shaft.

Give it a final spin to check that everything turns freely.

Finally, place the pump assembly back into the bottom casing of the device. Secure it by positioning it onto the two rubber mounts.

Once the pump assembly is in place, reconnect the cables to the terminals.

Finally, switch the device on and check that it is operating correctly.
